One owner. One standard. His name on every result.
An owner-operated restoration company that diagnoses before it treats.

This is David.
David's Lawns is one accountable owner, not a dispatch list. David quotes the work, sets the standard it is done to, and stands behind the result — and he is the same person you reach by phone or email today. He holds Ottawa's first CAT5 certification for Trident Hurricane urethane sealing, runs the purpose-built equipment below, and works out of Ottawa, based in Orléans. The advice comes before the sale: if the right answer is the smaller job, that is the answer you will get.

The person who quotes your job answers for your job
No sales team and no rotating crews. David scopes and prices every job himself, sets the standard the work is done to, and remains accountable for the result.
Diagnosis before treatment, every time
Thin turf and weedy joints are symptoms. The causes — soil chemistry, chinch bugs, grubs, eroded jointing sand — are what we actually treat. The diagnosis sometimes ends with a smaller job than you expected, or none at all — and where it suits the lawn better, David will phase the work or simplify the approach rather than sell the whole thing at once.
Commercial-grade equipment
Two custom saturated-steam units, sized to the work: 400,000 BTU for weeds in joints, and a second purpose-built unit at 900,000 BTU for steaming whole lawns — where the ground is measured in thousands of square feet rather than metres of joint. Both work at over 100°C and kill the root rather than just the top, with zero chemicals.
A 24-inch AeraSeeder and slice-seeding gear that place seed into the soil instead of scattering it. Commercial rotary surface cleaners for interlock. And on every interlock job, a precision measuring instrument that records the true area and shape of a surface, including curves and steps.
Proven, named materials
Trident Hurricane CAT5 — the two-part urethane we were the first in Ottawa certified to apply, over cured joints only. Techniseal HP NextGel polymeric sand. Certified Pickseed cultivars bred to resist Ottawa's diseases and pests. Named products, so you can look up exactly what goes into your job.
Prices you see before we ever meet
A real range online in about 60 seconds, no email wall, built from real labour and material costs. Then, before any work begins — for interlock, a free on-site assessment and a written proposal; for lawns, a plan agreed in advance with your price confirmed by email, and any change on the day checked with you first.
Standing behind it, in writing
A BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating, with a 3-year joint warranty on qualifying interlock restorations — extending to 5 years with the Annual Maintenance & Warranty program. Coverage is documented before work starts.
Offering a real warranty depends on what goes into the job. That is why David spends the time finding the best-performing product for each part of the work rather than the one that leaves the widest margin. A cheaper jointing sand puts a few dollars in our pocket today and hands them straight back in year three.
